Humus 0.5.0
The Library became a real file browser, the decks learned video, and Helix grew a face you can play.
Humus 0.5.0 is the release where finding a sound stopped being a file dialog. The Library is a browser now - places, ratings, tags, collections, and one search box that reads #tags, stars, kind, bpm and key - and clicking a sound plays it where it sits, waveform and all.
The decks learned video: picture and sound out of one file, scratched together, timecode and all. Helix wears a face, a lane per strand with a button per job. Math formulas read any Var in the patch by name. VideoMix takes up to eight feeds.
Thanks to everyone in the beta who installed this, patched something strange with it and then wrote in about what broke. Most of the Fixed list below is yours.

Added
- The Library is a file browser: places, ratings, tags, favourites, collections and one search that reads #tags, stars, kind, bpm and key
- Click a sound in the browser to hear it, with its waveform, Loop and tempo Sync; what you audition is never recorded
- Cmd+O and every file slot open the browser on the file you already have; Use File Browser... opens the system dialog
- Projects gathers every project and patch wherever it lives, as cards, tiles or a list
- Cmd+O comes back to the place you last opened a project from
- Watched folders, Computer places and Import to Library; Refresh (Cmd+R) finds new, moved and deleted files
- A place the browser has not read yet shows a spinning Loading
- An inspector (I) and a batch bar rate, tag and collect one file or many
- The Loads into column names the organisms that take a file; drop it on a box to load it, or on the canvas for a new organism
- Missing media gets one card with Locate and Dismiss
- Error and warning cards have a Copy button
- Every MIDI mapping has a kind and a mode: knob or fader, button or pad, encoder
- Math formulas read any Var in the patch by its name, and Vars corded into the Vars inlet lend theirs
- LFO, RNG and Morse lock their phase to the beat when Sync is on
- The keyboard on a MidiIn lights the keys held on a real MIDI keyboard
- VideoMix takes 2 to 8 inputs; from three it is a channel mixer with a fader per feed

- Helix rings draw what is on each strand, with a halo for the level arriving
- Snap puts a strand's first hit on the downbeat and fits it to the bar

- VideoPad has an audio outlet
- Capture with nothing armed follows the cords and arms a track per node
